Condition Assessment/ Treatment Recommendation: The front board is detached from the textblock, as is the first section. The back board is still attached, but only loosely so. Paper mending with Kizukishi repair tissue is required for all leaves in the first section, after which it will be resewn to rejoin it to the textblock. The loose attachment of the back board needs to be removed, and both boards will be reattached with aerolinen all along. New, pH neutral flyleaves will be added and hinged on. The covering leather will be cleaned and reconditioned as much as possible, and new leather will be placed under the old and dyed to match. Loss on the corners will be restored with repair tissue tinted to match the color of the original leather.
